Description
Wauseon Machine’s Automation Division designs and builds custom automation and robotic systems for the medical, automotive, consumable, and consumer goods manufacturing industries. These systems include, but are not limited to, assembly, dispensing, machine tending, material handling, and palletizing.
Robotic Engineers are responsible for programming MiR AMR and Fanuc robots for these systems. These programs are created from the ground up.

Core Responsibilities:
- Programming and simulation of FANUC and MiR AMR robots.
- Communication setup (EIP, CClink, Ethercat, etc.).
- Setup tools such as DCS, iRVision, TCP, User Frame, Aux Axis, CRX, IIC, Line Tracking, Force Sensing, iRPickTool, and PalletTool.
- Complete initial robotic programs offline prior to assembly.
- Debug robotic cell on assembly floor.
- Participate in Risk Assessment and safety planning.
- Participate in a team-oriented phase-gate process.
- Travel to customer sites for system debug and startup.
- Complete assigned project work per customer and Wauseon Machine requirements, on time, and within the project budget.
Required Experience:
- 5 years’ experience programming robots, including FANUC robots, for custom automated industrial systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 365, and Teams.
