KEBA 's North American team is looking to add a Senior Automation Engineer to our growing organization. This individual will leverage their extensive technical expertise and industry knowledge to drive innovative solutions, influence engineering and support strategies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with KEBA's customer base ranging from OEMs in precision motion, robotics companies, system integrators, and distributors.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead solution engineering efforts for automation projects, integrating KEBA’s controls, drives, motors, and HMIs.
- Providing application and technical support to existing and new account base.
- Develop proof of concept systems, technical workshops & trainings
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to improve customer experience
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges
- Engaging with customers during application development & commissioning process
Minimum Skills & Abilities
- Experience in Motion Control, PLC, HMI programming (script languages, JAVA, C/C++, IEC 61131 programming).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts throughout the organization.
- Experience with industrial fieldbuses, knowledge or servo control, and mechatronic concepts.
- Experience working within an international company is valuable, but not required.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mechatronics; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in automation engineering or similar role, with a strong background in factory automation, robotics, motion control.
