Description
Zeta Group Engineering is looking for a Controls Engineer to join our growing team. This person will be working from the Wrightstown, WI location. We have a pay structure that includes a competitive wage and bonus program, and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide electrical design and programming for automated systems
- Work with design team and customer from concept through startup of a project
- Ensure machines follow company engineering standards
- Review and develop wiring schematics
- Troubleshoot and test any technical issues
- Create, review, and approve job specific manuals
- Minimal local travel (on average 15-20%) as required for field work/startup work
Minimum Skills & Abilities
- Experienced in HMI & PLC programming
- Experience with control networks (Ethernet/IP)
- Control system design experience
- Panel design
- Field device
- Selection of components
- Knowledgeable about motion control
- Knowledgeable in vision systems
Minimum Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience working with controls systems
