We have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager for Ontario East and West for our Automation suite of Vacuum Products.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
As a Regional Sales manager with Schmalz Canada, you will have a focus on supporting all sales efforts for Eastern or Western Ontario for our “Handling Systems” and “Automation” Suite of products. This encompasses our Vacuum Lifters & Crane Systems, Automation and our Vacuum Clamping products. Whether dealing directly with the end user or through a distribution partner; you will be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing of all Schmalz product and solution offerings. Working with our U.S and German offices on projects will be routine so strong organizational and communication skills will be required. Application testing is common practice to provide solutions to customers, and therefore consistent product training must be a strong desire. The ability to communicate in English and French would be a tremendous asset.
Operational functions will include but not limited too direct customer dialogue, visits on site, preparation of quotations, application validation and recommendation and testing of products. All the while liaising with the Schmalz Canada staff
Minimum Skills & Abilities
You preferably have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an outside sales capacity. You are an independent worker and have experience with Vaccuum and pneumatics and/or other automation experience would be valuable. A good track record working within the Logistics, Packaging and Automotive market sectors will be a tremendous asset. Finally, the enthusiasm and desire to work on a young and growing team for Schmalz here in Canada
Minimum Education & Experience
Technical dimploma or degree in mechanical engineering or automation or equivalent experience.Back to All Careers
