In particular, shipments of robots to non-automotive companies saw exponential growth, a healthy sign for the robotics industry as automation becomes more profitable for a wider range of companies both large and small. The most notable growth came from the food and consumer goods, plastics and rubber, life sciences, and electronics industries.
